WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY.

Today is World Nature Conservation Day! This date is celebrated every year on July 28. The primary purpose of this event is to stress the importance of protecting and preserving nature and its resources to ensure we maintain a healthy and stable society.
Almost every human activity is somehow born, propelled, or sustained by natural resources. A healthy environment is, therefore, a key component of human society. It is vital to remind us that, no matter what industry we work in, our hobbies, or what we do or don’t do, it is of utmost importance to minimize the negative environmental trace of our activities and protect nature.
Likewise, in signage, this is of no less importance. Every sign installed is made from natural resources, and the way those signs are designed will influence how long those resources can be used and whether they can be recycled or reused at end-of-life. Despite how small of an impact a sign can have compared to other resources, it is still important to consider how signage can contribute to preserving natural resources and protecting nature.
