Elderly care Glorieux is part of a large care group vzw Werken Glorieux. With the General Hospital Glorieux and Elderly Care and Child and Youth Care facilities, this care group offers total care in the Flemish Ardennes. Wzc De Samaritaan, located in Maarkedal, is a residential care centre with 184 residential units. In addition to regular accommodation, the daycare centre De Samaritaan also offers daycare facilities for people with dementia. The residential care centre accommodates non-disabled and heavy care-requiring elderly and elderly people with dementia. De Samaritaan is divided into four living areas: Muziekbos and Spijkerbos on the 1st floor and Taaienberg and Koppenberg on the 2nd floor. The departments are spread over an extensive domain and are surrounded by various gardens, which creates a friendly and homely atmosphere.

With JLSigns design concept, we determined this project required a complete signage package. Outside, the Messenger Exterior system was chosen because of its slim and elegant design. For the same reason, the Modulex Infinity Basic range was opted for indoors. A unique element is that the sides of the panels, as well as the texts, are in the colour of the department, while the fronts remain neutral white. Discretion foils are printed on sandblasted look foil, while the walk-through protection remains transparent. The relief letters against the awning are made of Etronite. The result shows simplicity and taste!
