Modulex and JLSigns, in Belgium, have been hard at work on a signage and wayfinding system for the residential care home, De Lichtervelde, in Eke-Nazareth.

De Lichtervelde in Eke-Nazareth is a brand new residence with 208 single accommodation units and 13 spacious living units for married couples. De Lichtervelde focuses on residents coexisting and living together within a warm, home-like environment. The client paid much attention to creating and building a modern and friendly residence for current and future residents and a new, pleasant workplace for current and prospective employees.

Working with JLSigns’ design concept, Modulex was able to create a suitable wayfinding and signage system that fitted adequately into the surroundings of the building and kept to brand. The team made room numbers with gemstones for all rooms located within the building; this incorporated the warm neighbourhood and community feel. The Modulex Infinity Basic System of the signage, the use of transparent and semi-transparent prints on 3M of Clearview, were used to identify the different departments within the building.

Modulex and JLSigns completed this project within the time frame and are proud of the outcome.
