Located near Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands, Vágar Airport serves as the region’s primary international gateway. Our team in Denmark partnered with Dekostovan to provide a comprehensive signage solution that enhances travellers’ navigation.

The project included both interior and exterior signage. Inside the terminal, we implemented Modulex’s Via system, using suspended and wall-mounted formats for clear wayfinding. Modulex’s Messenger signage was used for the exterior to ensure durable and highly visible identification.

A key feature of the signage is its bold blue and bright green colour scheme, ensuring high visibility throughout the airport. The system also includes a thoughtful colour-coding approach: white text for English, green for Danish, and universally recognised symbols for effortless navigation.

All signage was expertly fabricated at our Billund, Denmark factory, ensuring precision and quality throughout the project.
