Toronto Metropolitan University

Younge Street’s newest landmark, the Toronto Metropolitan University offers eight stories of creative spaces. The distinctive blue and white structure, designed by Zeidler Architects in Toronto and the Norwegian firm Snøhetta, required a wayfinding and signage program that melded with each floor’s unique design, was distinct and achieved AODA compliance. Responding to each floor’s playful design, like the sixth-floor “beach”, and elements like student-selected furniture.
Modulex provided materials selection, supply, and installation for the Toronto Metropolitan University interior signage and wayfinding program that reflected the structure’s ethos and honored design intent.
