The People’s House, A White House Experience

The People’s House: A White House Experience in Washington, DC, is an immersive historical exhibition that brings the White House’s story to life. Our Mid-Atlantic team contributed to this remarkable project in collaboration with JM Zell Partners, LTD, and The White House Historical Association.

The project included exterior and interior signage, such as room identification signs, donor recognition dimensional letters, and custom-carved, paint-filled plaques for donor appreciation. Modulex Mid-Atlantic designed all the room identification signs and performed structural engineering for the exterior signage.

The team worked closely with RAA and Gensler, who created the additional signage. The exterior signage required creative structural design and engineering to attach the signs to the building securely. Through effective collaboration with all stakeholders, we developed a durable solution that preserved the integrity of the building’s structure.

Sustainability was a consideration in our design process. We used fully recyclable steel and aluminium for the exterior signs, aligning with our commitment to eco-friendly practices. We are proud to have contributed to creating a meaningful and lasting experience for visitors to The People’s House.
