The Corner

The Corner in Malmö, Sweden, is an architectural project inspired by the vibrancy of American street corners and Edward Hopper, an American realist painter and one of America’s most renowned artists, art.

Commissioned by PEAB, one of the largest construction companies in Sweden and the Nordic region, our Swedish team developed an innovative exterior signage program. This included a unified signage mounting system with beams painted to match the facade, serving as both support and decorative elements. Tenant signs were made from freestanding white-coated aluminium letters with 100% recycled acrylic fronts, illuminated by neutral white LED lighting.

The building’s name, The Corner, is prominently displayed on the rounded corner, featuring gold-painted round frames that emphasize the frames as part of the design. Eco-friendly practices were important for this project. Recycled acrylic was used for sign fronts, reducing environmental impact and aligning with sustainability goals.
