Indiska
Indiska, a prominent fashion and interior retail brand with 41 shops across Sweden, embarked on a project to revamp its signage with a strong focus on sustainability. The team in Sweden were asked to provide interior and exterior signage while providing eco-friendly branding solutions.
The collaboration between Indiska and the team aimed to transform the brand’s visual identity while minimising environmental impact. An important aspect of this initiative was the innovative use of repurposed facade panels sourced from a building in Malmö. The project significantly reduced its carbon footprint using reused aluminium and recycled Green Cast® acrylic. Additionally, interior signage was crafted from lacquered MDF certified by the Swedish environmental label Svanen, emphasising Indiska’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.
One of the most striking elements of the rebranding effort was the upcycling of neon from Indiska’s old signs. This neon was transformed into stunning neon art in collaboration with artist Sara Sjöbäck, blending artistic creativity with sustainable practices.
Through careful planning and collaboration, each Indiska store meets brand exposure guidelines while aligning closely with the company’s sustainability strategies.
