The Illumina Centre is a 155,000 sq ft life sciences hub at Granta Park, England, home to Illumina’s European headquarters. A global leader in genomics, Illumina advances human health through DNA sequencing and analysis.

Our London, UK team was tasked with delivering a complete signage solutions package for the new campus. The brief prioritised clarity, simplicity, and visual continuity to support smooth navigation across laboratories, offices, and shared spaces.

The system was built around our Infinity product range, selected for its flexibility and refined aesthetic. Wall-mounted panels, suspended elements, and Paperflex inserts were combined to create a cohesive, adaptable solution throughout the facility. In guest and public-facing areas, custom layered acrylic signs incorporated floor-specific colours and graphics–subtle wayfinding cues that echoed the interior finishes without distracting from the architecture.

Durability and adaptability were essential. The signage had to perform in a high-traffic environment while maintaining a discreet, elegant presence. With future expansion in mind, the system was designed to be easy to update and scale as the campus grows.

Collaboration was key throughout. Our London team worked closely with the client’s design team and project consultants to ensure alignment with the building’s finishes and identity. The full scope of the project, from design through to manufacture and installation, was delivered in under five months.
