We are proud to feature our work on two major student residence projects in Kingston, Ontario: GEOCentral and GEOPark. Both developments are part of the GEO Kingston community and were completed in partnership with Podium Developments.

For both buildings, Modulex served as the full Design + Build signage partner. Our involvement began with presenting initial design concepts to establish a clear visual direction. From there, we carried the project through detailed location planning and message scheduling, followed by the development of complete design packages and shop drawings. We conducted necessary site visits to ensure alignment with on‑site conditions and concluded by installing all signage elements. This comprehensive approach allowed us to maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality from start to finish.

As with many construction projects, unexpected challenges arose, particularly last-minute site changes that no longer aligned with earlier plans or designs. By staying actively involved on site and maintaining close communication with the project manager, we were able to address issues quickly and effectively. We never rely on one‑option solutions; instead, we provide multiple alternatives so the client can make informed decisions. This collaborative and adaptable approach ensured the project stayed on time and on budget.

All signage was fabricated through our in‑house capabilities in collaboration with a trusted local partners. We are grateful to have been part of the GEOPark and GEOCentral developments. Delivering these projects from concept to completion has been a rewarding experience, and we are proud of the results and the collaboration that made them possible.
