Fisketorvet Copenhagen Mall

The Denmark team is proud to highlight one of their most comprehensive wayfinding projects: the design, fabrication, and installation of a complete signage system for the Dining Area at Fisketorvet in the Copenhagen Mall. This vibrant destination in the heart of Copenhagen now features a unified, intuitive wayfinding solution that enhances guest experience and reinforces architectural harmony.

The team delivered a comprehensive solution, from concept to completion, encompassing design, engineering, production, and installation. The system spans multiple elements:

  • Totems and column signs serve as primary orientation points
  • Elevator signage and pictograms for quick, effortless decoding
  • Main signage on Levels 0 and 3 to guide guests through open zones
  • Illuminated facade letters ensure visibility and identity at entrances

Every component was designed to withstand high-traffic conditions while maintaining a calm, cohesive aesthetic. By integrating consistent typography, materials, and lighting, we created a seamless visual identity across all touchpoints.

The Dining Area’s dynamic environment required a solution that balanced clarity with architectural integrity. The team developed a robust hierarchy of signage elements, ensuring intuitive navigation while avoiding overcrowding of the space. Material selection focused on durability and ease of maintenance, while colour and finish choices were calibrated for both bright and intimate settings.

Environmental responsibility guided the team’s approach. All materials were selected for their longevity and recyclability, and energy-efficient lighting was incorporated into the illuminated elements. By prioritising sustainability, we delivered a solution that is both visually striking and environmentally conscious.

Guests now enjoy an intuitive, stress-free journey through the Dining Area, with clear connections between food zones, facilities, and floors. The solution enhances both functionality and experience, creating a strong first impression and elevating the overall ambience of Fisketorvet.
