Established in 1851 at Ersta Klippan in Stockholm, Sweden, Ersta Diakoni is a hospital that strongly believes in enhancing society and people’s lives through science and research. Esrta Diakoni opened a new hospital in 2023, Erstas Nya Sjukhus, increasing patient capacity and meeting the need for specialised care in a rapidly growing Stockholm.

The team in Sweden were asked to be commissioned to guide patients and staff in this new hospital by providing an interior signage solution. All the signage was designed, fabricated and implemented by Modulex using Etronit and GreenBond™, our eco-friendly materials – using printed colours and an ash wood structure that ties in with the light wooden interior of the hospital.
