Collège Marcel Callo

Collège Marcel Callo is a middle school in Nogent-sur-Oise, France. Our Paris team, working closely with the client Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil and architect Archipente, delivered a comprehensive signage program that supports both interior wayfinding and exterior identification.

The exterior signage included the school name sign, building access markers, restrooms, architect plaques, and other exterior plates. Inside, the system comprised of classroom vinyls, door signs, restroom graphics, directional arrows, floor plans, themed area signage, and decorative portraits of prominent figures. Each classroom door is named after a famous artist and features a vinyl representation of one of their works, alongside A4 and A5 paperflex for timetables and artist biographies, enriching the student experience and creating visually engaging learning spaces.

Challenges included sourcing copyright-free images for classroom decoration, which were resolved through collaboration with the school and targeted research. Our flagship factory in Billund, Denmark, fabricated and supplied the majority of the signage.

The result is a cohesive signage system that enhances navigation, strengthens the school’s identity, and contributes to an organised, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors alike.
