Carlsberg Central Office
In early spring, 2020, our team in Denmark was honoured to consult, produce and install the orientation, branding and campaign elements at the Carlsberg Central office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Carlsberg’s new headquarters, designed by CF Møller Architects, one of Scandinavia’s leading architecture firms, has 90 years of award-winning work in the Nordic region and worldwide. The Carlsberg headquarters has 23,200 m² in total, of which 15,500 m² correspond to offices and 7,700 m² basements and parking.
The signage developed and designed by the E-types Design Agency, had a narrow production and installation time -five weeks from first meeting to opening.
In the building’s interior, all meeting rooms are equipped with custom-designed privacy films reflecting the Carlsberg logo hop leaf, scaled to various sizes and installed in different shapes.
Straightforward wayfinding graphics were created, such as cut out letters mounted directly to existing concrete piers within the building. Additionally, the team installed textile banners made of fireproof fabric in various places inside the building. The installation was with an invisible mounting system – ensuring only the banner being visible.
At the reception desk, the “Carlsberg Group” and “Carlsberg Danmark” text and logos were installed in genuine brass on all the handlebars in the iconic building.
At the exterior, three small totems were installed to guide the parking area. And as the prominent “eye-catching” landmark of the building, we developed an exceptional solution, in which large letters were installed directly on the windows with no visible parts.
This project’s result was very satisfying – having been developed in such a short time and with an excellent outcome of quality and design.
