Arlo Washington DC

Located at G Street and 4th Street, just blocks from Capitol Hill, the Arlo Washington DC hotel places guests within walking distance of the National Mall, the Convention Centre, and Union Station. The hotel’s central location and contemporary design create a strong street-level presence that welcomes visitors from the moment they arrive.

For this project, our Miami team, in collaboration with Max Aronow from Modulex’s Mid-Atlantic team, designed and delivered a refined exterior signage package aligned with Arlo’s modern, upscale aesthetic. The scope included a historic-style plaque crafted from a folded panel mounted on a post, two illuminated wall signs, and one non-illuminated wall sign, each carefully considered for placement, visibility, and architectural context.

Every element reflects Arlo’s signature approach to design, defined by understated luxury, clean detailing, and clarity. The illuminated signage enhances nighttime identification and reinforces brand presence along the street, while the plaque and non-illuminated elements contribute to a cohesive and elevated arrival experience during the day.

The result is an exterior signage system that supports intuitive guest arrival, strengthens Arlo Washington DC’s identity at street level, and complements the hotel’s contemporary design language within its historic urban setting.
