The Modulex Americas team recently returned from Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa – a sophisticated, adults-only hideaway located in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Working closely with the HKS Architects interior design team, led by Jimmy Young, Modulex Americas shaped the signage and wayfinding program that helps guests navigate the property’s 18 buildings and 457 suites. Using high-resolution print on panel and 3D relief printing, the Modulex Americas team was able to directly reflect or complement the distinct interior design schemes; resulting in unique, textured signs that are as durable and cost-effective as they are creative.

A combination of Dibond and Modulex Infinity panels, the steam room’s wall tile was matched through 3D relief printing that produced the textured background and tactile elements. Modulex matched the wall panel design through the use of high resolution (300 dpi at actual size) print on panel. Single process 3D relief tactile elements and the use of Modulex Infinity ensure durability. Created with Dibond panel, this sign family uses 3D relief printing to produce a distinctive burnt metal texture and tactile elements.
