Frederick, Maryland, USA
SMI Sign Systems, a Frederick, Maryland-based integrated architectural signage solution provider, will rebrand as Modulex from September 1, 2022. The move was motivated by a need to fulfill client demand due to rapid growth and development in the mid-Atlantic area.
“This is an important move for the next phase of our growth,” says Max Aronow, CEO of SMI Sign Systems. “With our current capabilities, rebranding as Modulex allows us to widen our product and service offering. Modulex’s proprietary sign systems, eco-friendly products, and vast global network will enable us to serve our clients at an entirely new level.”
SMI Sign Systems has been in business since the late 1980s and has been on a growth trajectory and reinventing new ways to meet the needs of its impressive client roster. Adding production facilities over the years enabled SMI to add services and products to its portfolio.
“Modulex is honored to have the SMI Sign Systems team join the Modulex family,” says Ketil M. Staalesen, CEO of Modulex Group. “We have spent the last several months getting to know Max and his team. Their knowledge and professionalism only strengthen our company, and we anticipate exciting things happening in the mid-Atlantic region.”
Modulex Group, in business since 1963, has eight production facilities globally and a presence in over 300 cities across 45 countries. The Group’s massive reach underscores its mission statement to deliver projects on brand, on budget, and on time.
