Modulex Group Appoints Steffen Balle Jensen as Chief Operating Officer

Modulex, a global leader in architectural signage, wayfinding solutions, and global brand implementations, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steffen Balle Jensen as its new Chief Operating Officer. Steffen brings more than two decades of international experience across manufacturing, program leadership, IT transformation, and large enterprise operational management.

Steffen began his career after completing his education as an Industrial Engineer. Early on, he joined a signage company in the United States connected to Modulex. His operational capabilities and leadership quickly led him to assume responsibility for running Modulex US Manufacturing.

He later continued his career at Modulex’s headquarters in Billund, Denmark, holding several operational roles and contributing to improvements in manufacturing processes, delivery performance, and organizational execution.

In 2009, Steffen moved into a new chapter at the LEGO Group, where he spent the next 16 years in program and project management. During his tenure, he led large and complex IT and digital transformation initiatives, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets of tens of millions of DKK. His work consistently centered on navigating organizational complexity, driving structured execution, and ensuring alignment across global teams.

As COO, Steffen will oversee global manufacturing, operations, production, and delivery performance across Modulex’s international network. He will lead efforts to strengthen processes, increase operational alignment, and support the company’s strategic ambitions.
