The Global Warming Potential (GWP) values provided by this CO₂e calculator are intended for informational purposes only. They are derived primarily from Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) with global scope, EcoInvent 3.9 inventory data source, or global average GWP values for comparable raw materials. The data reflects Cradle-to-Gate impacts, although in some cases life cycle stages C1–C4 have also been considered to account for disposal impacts.
It is important to note that the results represent generalized estimates based on global averages and standard datasets. They do not account for specific supply chains, manufacturing processes, or regional variations, all of which may significantly influence actual outcomes. Furthermore, the manufacturing and use phases of signage have been excluded on the basis that they are assumed to contribute less than 5% of total GWP and are broadly consistent across materials.
The outputs of this tool should not be interpreted as definitive or comprehensive assessments of full Cradle-to-Cradle GWP impact, but rather as indicative values to support comparison and high-level decision making.
