As we mark World Water Day on March 23rd, Modulex reaffirms its commitment to sustainable water management practices. Water is a precious resource, and our efforts to conserve and recycle it are integral to our environmental stewardship.

Over the years, we’ve made significant strides in reducing our water consumption. Through the adoption of new products that eliminate the need for pre-treatment and by fostering water-saving habits across our organization, we’ve achieved a notable 16% reduction in water usage since 2019.

In our Billund factory, water plays a crucial role in our pre-treatment process for aluminium and steel components. However, we’ve implemented innovative techniques to maximize water efficiency. By reusing water in this process for extended periods and treating it before reintroducing it to the public sewage system, we ensure minimal waste and remove chemicals effectively.

Apart from pre-treatment, our facilities primarily utilize water for drinking purposes. To further enhance efficiency, we’ve implemented sensor taps and promoted water-saving behaviours among our staff.

On this World Water Day, we invite you to join us in safeguarding this vital resource for future generations. Together, let’s strive for a sustainable future where every drop counts.
